Devon Malcolm
Devon Malcolm is a Jamaican-born English former cricketer. Malcolm was one of England's very few genuinely fast bowlers of the 1990s.
Malcolm was one of the fastest bowlers in world cricket, with his career best performance of nine wickets for 57 runs against South Africa being one of the best innings performances in Test history.
As the cricket writer, Colin Bateman, noted, "Malcolm, incredibly wholehearted with an easy charm off the field, became a national hero." Malcolm runs a company that sells cricket equipment to schools and clubs around the world.
Stuart Whiter (Captain)
Stuart is Associate Portfolio Director and has been with the company since 2018.
He is a specialist in the London Legal market, with over 8 years’ experience, having trained at a global recruitment company in Central London.
Stuart recruits for a wide range of law firms, from boutique practices to international.
Matthew Grindley
Matt joined Birketts in March 2011 and is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Property Team. Matt advises both corporate and individual clients on a wide range of commercial property matters.
He has extensive experience of acting for clients in the motor, logistics, retail and leisure sectors. In addition, Matt is a member of the firm’s specialist Real Estate Finance Team, acting for major UK lenders and high net worth individuals.
In his spare time, Matt is a keen sportsman and avid supporter of West Ham United. He can often be found surfing the waves off the Cornish coast.
David Carter
David has over 19 years’ experience of working within growing businesses ensuring all areas of the business run smoothly and evolve.
At NFL he works in finance, compliance, HR, change management, IT & business support, project management, facilities, security, business development and marketing, event management to name a few.
David started at NFL in 2016 as Head of IT, then advanced to Practice Manager in 2017 and then Partner in 2020. Outside of work David can either be found playing football or spending time with family and friends.
William Gubbins
William joined Underwood & Co. Solicitors in 2021 and predominantly acts for and advises the Firm’s clients on employment law matters.
He is experienced in advising employers and individuals (including senior executives) on settlement and consultancy agreements, employment contracts, secondment and commission agreements, restrictive covenants and employment terminations.
William is also experienced in preparing documentation for and handling contentious employment matters and employment tribunal proceedings.
William has also been interviewed on BBC Radio and other national and regional radio stations to discuss relevant employment law issues.
Lee Hibell
Lee qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and joined Paul Robinson Solicitors LLP in 2015. Lee is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and an associate member of the Solicitors for the Elderly.
Lee graduated with an Honours Degree in Physics (BSc) from Kingston University.
He specialises in Estate and Trust Administration, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters. Lee works closely with genealogists in tracing and assisting heirs where there is no Will and is able to provide Inheritance Tax planning with the assistance of a trusted group of financial planners.
Kishen Bhimsingh
Kishen joined JMW in March 2024 as a solicitor in the Property Litigation Team. Prior to JMW, Kishen qualified at a prominent Bedford based firm then moved to a leading Legal 500 and Tier 1 Chambers firm.
Kishen regularly acts on behalf of private individuals, residential and commercial landlords and tenants, high net-worth individuals and national and multinational companies.
Before joining JMW, Kishen regularly represented his clients at repossession hearings in the County Court. Kishen has been featured in the Legal 500 (2023 edition) as a ‘Key Lawyer’.
Alejandro Worthington
Alejandro joined JMW in May 2019 as a Partner in the Corporate Recovery & Insolvency department in the London office.
Alejandro’s clients include insolvency practitioners (on both corporate and personal matters), banks and other lenders, directors and their businesses. Alejandro advises on both contentious and transactional matters as well in respect of company restorations and certain aspects of licensing law. He also acts for creditors, including in the pursuit and collection of debts.
Alejandro’s insolvency and restructuring experience covers a broad range of sectors.
He has been praised by clients for his “hard work” and his “tactical and commercial advice”.

Yasmin Daswani
Yasmin is an Associate Solicitor who has extensive experience in commercial disputes, trademark litigation, private wealth disputes and alternative dispute resolution including mediation.
Her practice also covers more general commercial litigation work including breach of contract, debt claims and misrepresentation claims. Yasmin prides herself on a pro-active and enthusiastic approach.
Outside of work, Yasmin is an international cricketer (playing for Hong Kong). She is passionate about increasing opportunities for women in sports and has a website called “Associate Women in Cricket”.
Lakmal Walawage
Lakmal joined JMW in December 2020 as an Associate Solicitor in the Intellectual Property Department.
Lakmal specialises in all aspects of intellectual property law including trade mark, design right, copyright, patent, breach of confidence, defamation disputes, predominantly heard in the High Court (Chancery Division) and the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court.
Lakmal has worked on notable reported cases in the IP field. Lakmal speaks both English and Sinhala.
Outside of work, Lakmal likes spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, listening to records or playing cricket.
Miles Sriharan
Miles specialises in Property Finance and Commercial Litigation with a particular focus in Bridging Finance. Miles primarily acts for bridging lenders and mortgage institutions, having specialised in the same for a number of years he is widely considered a specialist in those areas.
After having his secondary education at Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School in Elstree, Miles went on to study at the University of Nottingham and thereafter The College of Law, London.
Miles is a keen cricketer and a Life Member of Middlesex County Cricket Club. He played for the 1st XI team in Haberdashers’ Aske’s and thereafter for the 1st XI team at Uxbridge Cricket Club. He is currently playing for Gerrards Cross Cricket Club, Buckinghamshire.
